Our double ended dreadlocks use a simple three-strand braid-in method. Install them yourself, with a friend, or with a stylist. Every order includes an 11-part install course.

Your hair only needs to be 2–3 inches long to securely wear our extensions.

When installed and cared for properly, this is a protective style. Use extra caution only with very brittle or severely thinning hair.

Most women prefer 10–16 bundles (50–80 extensions) for a full look; 9–11 is usually enough for undercuts, very fine hair, or neck sensitivity.

Wear for 4–6 weeks, then remove and reinstall the same set.

Daily care takes about 10 minutes; wash weekly with a gentle shampoo bar.

We are known for some of the lightest wavy dread extensions available. While any added hair takes a few days of adjustment, our designs focus on comfort, secure braid-in styling, and reduced slip.

Each extension is simply braided into your natural hair using a typical 3 strand braid, the same one most of us learned as a little girl. You repeat that process around your head and you’re done.

We send a digital course with your order to guide you through the process.

You can install them on yourself, have a girlfriend help, or show it to your hairdresser so they can install them for you.

We recommend 4 to 6 weeks of wear time. Once you remove them, you can immediately re-install them or take a break and enjoy your natural hair.

We like to say we're "bougie hippies, not dirty ones."

You can wash them as often as you like, and you can shower just as you normally would. Most women find they only need to wash their hair 1–2 times per week.

Because you’re not washing, drying, and styling every day, your mornings get much faster and your natural hair gets a much‑needed break.

Use a gentle and pH‑balanced shampoo to wash, like our Peppermint Shampoo Bar, that helps prevent itching, adds moisture and keeps your hair soft. Use the Shampoo Bar to clean your scalp and let the suds rinse through the extensions.

It's super simple. At first, your routine will take about 10 minutes in the morning and 10 in the evening. Then it will get faster as time goes on.

Your basic routine:

• Daily: Simply separate your dreads twice a day using a few pumps of Crown Nectar.
• Weekly: Wash your scalp and hair then rinse well.
• Nightly: Sleep in a satin bonnet or 1 or 2 french braids on a satin pillowcase
• After 2 months: Nightly, slide an Ona band over your loose hair and climb into bed. No more bonnet needed.
  

Never brush or comb them, as this can ruin the texture and wave.

You only need 2 to 3 inches of hair to install these.

If your hair is past your shoulder blades, we recommend choosing one of our longer extension options to ensure there is enough space to braid your natural hair onto the extension comfortably.
