What it is

These are braid-in dreadlock extensions. They start off as loose, wavy hair and dread up over time, making caring for them easier and easier.

Each strand folds in half. A small piece of your own hair is braided onto it.

A tiny rubber band holds it in place.

What it isn’t

No glue. No tape. No heat. No dye or bleach on your hair.

Nothing is permanent. To take one out, cut the tiny rubber band (never your hair) and unbraid it.

Will it take time to get used to?

Every healthy woman loses between 60 and 100 hairs a day. When you remove your extensions, you’ll see a few weeks’ worth of that hair come out all at once. Don’t worry, this is completely normal.

How long does my own hair need to be?

At least 2 to 3 inches.

Do I have to match my hair color?

Whether you’re looking to match your natural hair or to go with a completely different color, women find they like both options. If you’re wanting to match your natural color, most women can find a color very similar to what their natural hair is. How do I take them out?

Cut the tiny rubber band, never your hair. Unbraid your hair from the extension and comb the fall away from your hair. You can take out one strand at a time or the whole set.

Some hair will come out when you comb. That’s your normal daily shedding that was held in the braid.

Can I wear the same set again?

Yes. With good care, they’re made to be worn again and again.

Take them out and put the same set back in, as many times as you like. Most people redo them every 4 to 6 weeks, one strand at a time.

Can I work out and wash them?

Yes. Work out, sweat, and move like you always do. They’re braided in, so they stay in while you move.

Wash them like your own hair. Then let them air-dry or blow-dry them.

Just never use curling irons, flat irons, or other hot tools on them.

How do I sleep in them?

Most women wear a satin bonnet. Or they put them in one or two French braids and sleep on a satin pillowcase.

What comes in the box?
